There’s a lot of talk about ADHD these days. It stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD is  a problem of not being able to focus, being overactive, not being able to control behavior, or a combination of these. Click on the underlined link to read 7 facts about ADHD that you need to know.

Any of my readers have experience with ADHD? Do you see an increase in it these days? Do you think it is a catch-all term for challenged children? Your thoughts and comments are welcome, but please read the link first.  🙂 Nealie

  1. I wish this info had been available when I was a child, but thankful that our children are being helped now.

  2. My husband was diagnosed with ADHD as an 8 year old. Medication was not an option to his parents, just tough love. It was a struggle for him for the next 15 years of his life. He turned out great, and is a great father to his kids but so many years of hardship with no treatment or help made it unnecessarily difficult for him. I think if your child has symptoms, get them evaluated and if needed, try anything and everything to help them because it is not something they will grow out of and it can greatly effect their future.
