I Am SO Grateful

There is rarely a day that goes by that I don’t thank God for all that I have.

Children need to feel safe.

Running water, a shower, beds, heat, air conditioning, electricity . . . And then there is food! Grocery stores full of choices, restaurants everywhere, and a pantry that has lots.

We have so much that we take for granted, and complain about the littlest things. Spoiled. We in America are spoiled and so often unappreciative.

I think of the millions of refugees, sleeping outside in the cold and rain. Muddy, freezing, hungry -worried about their children living through the journey, or even the night.

We, on the other hand, worry about living through taking a trip with the kids to the grocery store!

I don’t know how much longer this nation will be in peace and safety. Do you ever think of that? I do.

Be praying for our leaders; they are going to need every shred of wisdom and cooperation for the days ahead.

And in the meantime, thank you, God, for what we have here! -Nealie

Oh yes! I am very very thankful and also wonder what may be around the corner for this once great nation built on Godly principles.
